Primary Duties And Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate tours for outside organizations including schools, businesses, senior citizens, private groups and other visitors.
• Entertainingly inform tour groups of Franz history and production processes.
• Order supplies for the department (i.e. office supplies) and order products for visitors (i.e. mini loaves, juice etc.).
• Create, prepare, and copy appropriate supplies and materials for each tour.  
• Critique and select other media as appropriate.
• Prepare and clean tour room daily. 
• Clean and organize room at the end of each day.
• Support and adherence to Franz Family Bakery Core Values.
• Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Education/Experience

• High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
• Tour guide or public speaking experience preferred. 
• Experience with working with kids in grades K-12 is beneficial.

Critical Skills and Expertise

• Detail oriented, organized, excellent communication skills both orally and written.
• Ability to accomplish goals and tasks independently and work well in a Team environment and well with others.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills mandatory with a variety of age groups and learning/understanding capacities. 
• Ability to give presentations to small and large groups of people.
• Knowledge of appropriate positive discipline to ensure safety of groups is required. 
• Solid proficiency and use of Microsoft office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
• SHIFT AND HOURS: Monday - Thursday, approximately 7:30 to 4:00 with flexibility to adjust as needed-primarily works during the tour season which coincides with the school year. May flex some hours on Mondays and/or Fridays and during the summer. 
• Must be able to walk approximately 4-5 miles per day, climb flights of stairs many times per day, and ability to stay for short period of times in high heat areas.
• Must be comfortable with using of a megaphone.
