Job Description

As Group Change Manager at Epworth HealthCare, you will lead a dedicated team of change managers, acting as the centre of excellence for change across Victoria’s largest not-for-profit private health care group. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and delivering a group-wide change management framework, building capability, and guiding transformational initiatives that align with Epworth’s strategic vision. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, project teams, and the People & Culture team to ensure change programs are strategically governed and deliver measurable business outcomes, fostering a resilient and adaptable organisation.

Central to this role is a commitment to culture and person-centric change—placing people at the heart of every project and transformation. You will champion approaches that prioritise the experience of patients, staff, and leaders, ensuring that changes to systems, processes, and structures are designed and implemented with empathy, clarity, and collaboration. You will build change capability across the organisation supporting leaders and teams through complex transitions, in line with Epworth’s vision and values.

You will make an impact by:

  • Defining and shaping the change needs of major change programs across the group
  • Leading the design and delivery of enterprise-wide cultural and people change programs.
  • Translating strategic objectives into actionable change plans that foster engagement and adoption

Qualifications

To be successful in this role…

You Will Have:

  • A qualification in change management
  • Extensive and broad change management experience across a range of domains
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of organisational behaviour, change management methodologies and employee experience design.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills.
