Description
Gagosian is accepting applications for its Winter 2026 Internship Program in Beverly Hills!Gagosian is a leading global art gallery that represents and exhibits some of the most important contemporary artists. Our internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and work closely with talented professionals in the art industry, while also participating in lectures and team projects with key members of Gagosian staff and artists. As an intern, you will be an integral part of the gallery’s daily operations and contribute to our mission of promoting and shaping contemporary art.
In our Beverly Hills internship program, you will gain broad exposure by supporting multiple departments and contributing to general gallery operations on a daily basis. This structure provides valuable hands-on experience across different facets of gallery work while allowing you to cultivate lasting professional relationships. We are seeking applicants with a strong interest in art who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
Position Type
- 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, with additional hours for openings and events.
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
- 100% in person, at one of our Beverly Hills gallery.
- The internship program will run from January 14th - May 23rd, 2026.
Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
- Providing support to Gallery Assistant team with visitor inquiries and administrative tasks (including mail send-outs, publication and stock management, preparing offices for client meetings, expenses).
- Assisting with general office operations, such as stocking supplies, organizing shared spaces, and maintaining inventory.
- Collaborating with the Gallery Assistant team to ensure smooth daily operations and support colleagues across sales, artist liaison, research, and events.
- Participating in gallery openings and events.
- Supporting ad hoc projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current 3rd or 4th year undergraduates, recent graduates, or postgraduate students with degrees in Art History or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong desire to pursue a career in the art world.
- Flexibility, attention to detail, and a desire to learn are essential.
- Prior museum, auction house, or gallery experience is preferable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
