Let'S Introduce Ourselves

This position, in addition to working for Volvo Cars in Košice, will closely cooperate with Global Indirect Procurement and require English as primary language for written and spoken communication. Some of our responsibilities are facility management, consumables, corporate services, professional services, security system services and digital services. Together with our stakeholders, you will represent the entire company and drive the strategy and tactics in how we secure the right talent and services needed for the successful transformation of our company. You will play an important role in securing that we get access to the best services on the market at the best cost levels while securing that we are compliant and follow Volvo Cars requirements and policies.  

What You'Ll Do

Develop, own and manage his/her supply base, making sure there is a balanced base of financially healthy and competent suppliers with an optimal footprint supporting sustainability and the category strategy throughout the whole lifecycle. Components of the role can include tendering with potential suppliers, evaluating competing bids and negotiating prices and securing agreements.

Since our Kosice plant is in a ramp-up phase you thrive by working in a dynamic environment with a can-do attitude. You need to embrace unknown future challenges and have the drive to make things happen in an ever-changing environment.

•    Execute and support cross-functional sourcing projects including preparation, execution, analysis, negotiation, supplier selection and contract management
•    Develop and present business cases ensuring strategic recommendations
•    Implement category- and supplier strategies
•    Establish commercial relations with suppliers and stakeholders
•    Work proactively with key business stakeholders to understand your product/service, its market, supply base and potential innovation to find ways to increase value for Volvo Cars - including cost, quality, and sustainability
•    Execute administrative and reporting tasks related to Procurement

Compensation And Benefits

Monthly gross salary for this position starts from 1600 EUR.
* The salary amount represents the minimum guaranteed amount of the basic salary component applicable to the job. Final salary is negotiable and will be adjusted in accordance with seniority level and previous experience of candidate.
