About This Role
As SRE Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the Site Reliability Engineers (SRE) team, ensuring the execution of critical infrastructure operations, service reliability, and compliance with security standards. This role combines both technical and people leadership, with a focus on mentoring, managing technical projects, and continuous optimization.
This role also involves driving automation, implementing best practices, and ensuring operational excellence to support the resilience and scalability of our IT environment.
You Will
- Lead the SRE team in their daily operations.
- Assign priorities and manage workload distribution.
- Ensure platform availability and resilience.
- Promote a culture of automation and reliability.
- Collaborate on strategic projects with other teams.
- Mentor and support the professional growth of the team.
- Supervise systems administration, automation, monitoring, and scalability.
- Coordinate critical incidents, ensuring proper response times.
- Guide the team in implementing SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs).
- Collaborate with Security, Development, and Infrastructure teams.
- Encourage adoption of IaC and CI/CD.
- Ensure continuous update of technical documentation.
- Track performance objectives for the area.
Languages
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
What We Are Looking For
- Solid background in Linux and/or Windows systems administration.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Practice in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Good understanding of networks and security fundamentals.
