THE ROLEWe are looking for a result oriented, dynamic and decisive Visual Merchandiser to ensure a high level of VM execution within our international store network.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the VM Manager and supporting the visual merchandising Franchise teams with all VM activities.
- Provide hands-on support for store VM activities seasonally (dedicated window launches, events & product launches) for stores across the KL portfolio (Global Partners)
- Adapt global guidelines & interoperate across various space formats & different markets to reflect local & commercial needs
- Ownership of store openings – 360 approach: layouts, mannequin & prop orders.
- Offer VM support & store visits physically or virtually to support business needs.
- Responsible for all VM communication at store level.
- Delivery of VM training & supporting in-store VM training initiatives to drive sell through & commercial goals.
- Support with the creation of VM tools such as seasonal & permanent VM Guidelines, with adaptions to suit local market needs.
- Work in partnership with Retail/Franchise/Marketing teams to create brand alignment across all global territories reflective of local markets.
- Recommend & support with seasonal product “Sell in” ensuring brand VM strategies can be achieved & reflects Brand product launch calendar & core buy strategy.
- Lead and motivate VM teams across partners to complete VM directives to given timelines, review & offer feedback to suit market/commercial needs & brand alignment.
- VM support of Brand activities – Line openings, VM Guidelines shoot etc.
- Delivery of key Marketing events/activities within local markets.
The Profile
- Visual Merchandising, across global Franchise network - Fashion, Retail or Business-related studies.
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role/market.
- Language: fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Good knowledge and confidence in the use of Microsoft office, the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Organizational & coordination skills, enthusiasm, strong and natural communicator with excellent negation skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team is key.
- Flexibility to travel globally on a regular basis.
- Meticulous attention to detail and consistency in VM approach.
- Eager to learn and develop in a fast-growing environment.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Flexibility, adaptability and a positive "can-do" attitude are a must.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a very fast paced environment.
