POSITION SUMMARY
As a Senior M&A Associate for Cardone Ventures, you will play a critical role in evaluating and executing complex investment opportunities. You will be responsible for leading the analysis of pro forma and historical financial statements, generating detailed valuations, and synthesizing insights into executive-level reports. Your ability to navigate complex transactions and communicate strategic recommendations will be pivotal to our success.

Success Looks Like

  • Lead the financial analysis process, crafting comprehensive Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs) and other high-impact presentation materials that effectively communicate strategic insights to stakeholders and support decision-making.
  • Independently manage active deals with precision, serving as the primary point of contact for clients on a daily basis, while ensuring seamless communication and successful transaction execution.

Objectives

  • Lead in-depth analysis of pro forma and historical financial statements and valuation models.
  • Oversee all functions to perform thorough due diligence, identifying red flags, addressing issues, and proposing solutions.
  • Draft sophisticated reports detailing key transaction highlights, risks, and insights based on due diligence.
  • Lead and manage multiple M&A transactions with precision, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to efficiently execute each phase of the deal lifecycle, consistently exceeding timelines and expectations.
  • Support contract negotiations by preparing and refining documents related to proposed transactions, including detailed due diligence findings, results, and summaries.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to evaluate and qualify potential M&A opportunities.
  • Maintain and update the M&A pipeline in close collaboration with senior management.
  • Create and deliver investment presentations, engage in strategic deal sourcing, and outline deal structuring.
  • Oversee engagements with potential clients for 10X Buy/Sell Services and/or Business Acquisition Club.
  • Provide leadership support to both 10X Buy/Sell and Business Acquisition Club clients throughout their acquisition journey.
  • Research and track industry M&A trends and best practices, continuously refining Cardone Ventures’ and its clients' M&A activities for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

Competencies

  • Expertise in the financial or investment management industry.
  • Advanced communication of investment objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of the M&A industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/accounting.
  • Proficiency in building intricate financial models.
  • Comfort with presenting complex financial information to leadership concisely.
  • Competence in delivering presentations to investors via video conference.
  • Mastery of the sales process and ability to effectively follow up with potential clients.
  • Proficient in reading and evaluating financial statements.
  • Strong understanding of private equity–focused investments.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of M&A experience, either buy-side or sell-side.
