Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and execute application and infrastructure releases across environments (dev, QA, staging, production).
• Develop and maintain automated build, deployment, and release pipelines.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate code changes, resolve conflicts, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor release performance and proactively troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Maintain version control, release notes, and documentation for all deployments.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards during release processes.
• Implement rollback and recovery strategies for failed releases.
• Identify opportunities to optimize CI/CD pipelines, tools, and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in release engineering, DevOps, or software configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Bamboo).
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub)
