Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to support the broader People & Culture team to be more efficient and effective through the provision of operational and administrative support to the business.
- Action end to end employee lifecycle processing - ensure all process steps are accurately completed in line with documented procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including but not limited to: – draft and/or finalise employment documents, – data entry, – filing and maintaining of employee files, – provide information/notifications to other stakeholders.
- Monitor the P&C Operations worklist for new requests and: – action tasks within the P&C Operations service catalogue, – direct employees to self-service information, or – triage and escalate to the appropriate tier 1 or tier 2 level contact.
- Respond to employment verification requests and questions about employee lifecycle processes.
- Administer compliance activities including: – On time completion of all background screening for new starters and rescreening for existing employees. – Assign and review acknowledgement of Rest policies. – Review all Work From Home checklists for new starters and validation for existing employees within Service Level Agreements. – Approve or review approvals of assigned P&C processes to ensure they are in line with Rest’s guidelines.
- Schedule and book workshops and inductions for new starters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related discipline desirable
Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
- • Demonstrated experience in human resources and/or administrative experience
- • Experience with HR systems or case management systems (iChris and/or ServiceNow advantageous)
- • Strong organisational and administrative ability, coupled with the ability to effectively prioritise
- • Ability to communicate well with all levels of the company; employees and management
