Packaging Artwork Designer

About The Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer specialized in packaging artwork creation to join our Design & Consumer Experience team at Flora Food Group. This role will work across our iconic portfolio of brands, delivering best-in-class packaging design solutions that drive brand impact on shelf and beyond.
The Packaging Artwork Designer will be responsible for developing, adapting, and finalizing packaging artworks, ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and consistency across formats and markets. Beyond artwork execution, this role offers the opportunity to contribute creatively to brand design evolution and holistic activations across all consumer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, adapt, and finalize packaging artworks across multiple brands and formats, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and print specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the Design team, as well as cross-functional partners in Innovation and Brand teams, to deliver packaging solutions that balance creativity and technical feasibility.
- Ensure artworks are fully print-ready, considering color management, typography, image resolution, die lines, barcodes, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with external agencies, pre-press suppliers, and printers to guarantee high-quality execution.
- Stay up to date with the latest printing technologies and processes (e.g., offset, flexography, digital, gravure) and apply best practices to projects.
- Support the creative development of brand design systems, exploring new visual codes and extending identity beyond pack to holistic brand experiences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience in packaging artwork creation, preferably within FMCG or consumer brands.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); knowledge of Acrobat for pre-press checks is a plus.
- Familiarity with artwork production tools and processes, including:
- Color management (Pantone, CMYK, Spot colors)
- Pre-press requirements (trapping, overprint, bleed, diel ines)
- File preparation for multiple printing methods (flexo, offset, digital, gravure)
- Excellent eye for detail, typography, and layout.
- Ability to translate creative concepts into technically feasible and print-ready solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Innovation, Brand, Marketing, Supply Chain).
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
