About GSVServices: We are a multispecialty practice with boarded specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and critical care. Our clients and patients also have access to ophthalmology, oncology, radiation oncology, neurology, dermatology, and radioactive iodine treatment.

Responsibilities

• Follows doctors’ orders as requested pertaining to lab work and prescriptions.
• Follows the policies and procedures in reporting and documenting results.
• Maintains all laboratory equipment and logs.
• Monitoring laboratory and pharmacy supplies and maintaining ordering with the purchasing coordinator.
• Completes and documents all in-house lab work.
• Assists in preparation for lab testing, understands equipment operations and able to perform basic troubleshooting.
• Maintains error logs, quality controls and monitoring reagent status.
• Completes all prescriptions with the appropriate time frames
• Handles incoming pharmacy phone calls, voicemails and emails.
• Able to help with tasks, not limited to pharmacy and laboratory.

Qualification

• High school diploma
• Graduate from any animal science program is ideal
• Prior experience with veterinary pharmaceuticals and laboratory equipment such as IDEXX, Zoetis is required
• Proficiency in veterinary terminology
• Medical math skills
