Tasks And Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the quality and execution of project phase transitions (Installation -> Commissioning -> Testing -> Handover to Service Team).
- Supervise and quality-check subcontractors during pre-commissioning activities (I/O checks, etc.).
- Bridge the gap between installation and commissioning teams to resolve technical/ quality issues.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Customer Service, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure that quality issues encountered during installation, commissioning, testing and post-Go-Live phases are documented and resolved by the respective parties.
- Provide technical expertise and lead troubleshooting and rectification works for major equipment issues.
- Conduct independent safety audits on-site, focusing on equipment and operational safety.
- Involve in special project as required.
- Ensure adherence to site work and Dematic policies and procedures.
- To comply with all safety standards and procedures and conduct your work in a safe manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing technical guidance and post-installation support.
- Involvement in continual improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance of all applicable health & safety legislations.
- Ensure paperwork is completed and submitted timely and accurately.
- Ensure high standard of service, skill, ability with current products.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Any other relevant duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager
Qualifications And Skills:
- Strong understanding of warehouse automation systems, robotics, PLCs, and control systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical faults.
- Good Understanding of OH&S requirements.
- Ability to travel within the region
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical service or maintenance roles within automation, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Experience with warehouse automation systems and equipment
- Experience in working and supporting multiple project site
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Relevant professional Certification in project management, technical maintenance or related field.
