- Purpose of the Role:
- The purpose of this role is to manage and drive the progress of our company wide data protection programme and support the Keyloop Legal & Compliance team with data protection queries from across the business.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the Keyloop data protection programme, including the maintenance of the central record of processing activities
- Responsible for maintaining internal processes and guidance as required to ensure data processing principles are complied with including gateways for the completion of impact assessments, the publication and maintenance of privacy notices and the inclusion of contractual provisions in all applicable data processing arrangements (e.g. customer and supplier)
- Lead all data protection training requirements including within L&C team, business wide and the management of data protection champions across the business
- Horizon scanning for data protection legislative changes internationally
- Manage our data subject requests process including the maintenance of standard processes and templates
- Responsible for the management of all reported personal data breaches including reporting to impacted parties and supervisory authorities where necessary
Skills & Experience
- Practical experience managing all or a part of a global enterprise wide data protection programme
- Experience of working for or on behalf of a technology company preferable
- IAPP or equivalent data protection qualifications preferable
- UK qualified solicitor
- Maintain all required supervisory authority registrations
- Support the wider L&C team with the negotiation of data processing terms where necessary, including the publication of standard guidance and training
