We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineering Team Lead with strong Leader/Doer capabilities. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can set a vision while executing effectively. You will manage and mentor a team of engineers while directly contributing to the design and delivery of innovative power protection systems.

We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineering Team Lead with strong Leader/Doer capabilities. This role is ideal for a self-starter who can set a vision while executing effectively. You will manage and mentor a team of engineers while directly contributing to the design and delivery of innovative power protection systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers working on power electronics and protection systems for commercial and industrial applications.
- Balance technical design responsibilities with team leadership within the Systems & Electrical group.
- Support system and hardware design, validation, and delivery throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Provide design leadership for new and existing power protection systems.
- Develop technical design specifications and design power/electronic subsystems for mission-critical applications.
- Serve as project leader and senior contributor on new product development efforts.
- Conduct system-level design including component selection, simulation, tolerance, variance, and power dissipation.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both engineers and non-engineers.
- Contribute to innovation strategy, intellectual property development, and patent initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design.
Preferred Qualifications
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with power systems or power electronics design.
- Proven experience leading projects and team members.
- Familiarity with ECNs, BOMs, documentation systems, AutoCAD, Altium, dFMEA, and HALT.
- Excellent lab and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapid development cycles and changing priorities.
- Experience with UL, IEC, and EMC electrical safety requirements.
- Strong knowledge of magnetics for power conversion.
- Experience with wide-bandgap (WBG) switching devices, simulation, and application.
- Background in control theory and/or embedded programming.
