end attacks with a single click. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven APAC Sales
Manager to lead our growth and expand our presence in this critical region.
Job Summary
The APAC Sales Engineer is a crucial technical role that serves as the primary technical liaison
for our partners, customers, and the regional sales team. This position is the technical backbone
for our channel-centric business model, providing pre-sales and select post-sales technical
support. The ideal candidate will be a master at technical communication, hands-on execution
of proof of concepts (POCs), and troubleshooting. The role requires deep technical knowledge
of EDR, XDR, and MDR/MSS to empower our channel partners and drive business growth
across the region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel & Partner Technical Enablement:
- Technical Responses: Lead and provide expert technical responses to all Requests for
Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from partners. Collaborate with
partner technical teams to craft comprehensive, accurate, and compelling submissions
that highlight Cybereason's value proposition.
- Technical Training: Plan and deliver technical training, workshops, and enablement
sessions to channel partners to ensure they are fully capable of selling, demonstrating,
and supporting Cybereason solutions independently. This includes guidance on product
features, use cases, competitive differentiators, and best practices.
- Q&A and Guidance: Serve as the go-to technical resource for the partner ecosystem,
providing clear and concise answers to technical questions. Offer guidance on effective
demo delivery, troubleshooting techniques, and overcoming technical challenges.
- 2. Proof of Concept (POC) Management & Execution:- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with partners and end-customers to meticulously planand scope POCs, defining a clear Statement of Work (SOW) and measurable successcriteria.-Hands-on Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of POCs, including platformdeployment, configuration, and a guided test-run of the platform's capabilities todemonstrate value and prove a compelling ROI.- Troubleshooting: Proactively troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during POCs,ensuring a smooth and successful evaluation for the customer.
- 3. Direct Support to Regional Sales Director:- Technical Q&A and Demos: Provide expert technical support to the Regional Sales- Director during sales calls and meetings with strategic accounts and partners. This includes leading product demonstrations and tailoring them to the specific needs of theaudience.- Business Growth Enablement: Contribute to the development of technical salesstrategies, offering insights on competitive positioning, market trends, and the productroadmap to enable business growth.- Pipeline Support: Provide technical validation of opportunities and ensure the technicalaspects of the sales cycle are on track to support the sales forecast.
- 4. Post-Sales Technical Information Support:- Customer & Partner Guidance: Provide technical information and guidance to partnersand customers in the post-sales phase. This includes answering questions related toproduct features, integrations, best practices for deployment, and troubleshooting.- Collaboration with Support: Act as a bridge between the customer/partner and the officialsupport teams, ensuring smooth handover and providing context for technical inquiries.- Documentation: Assist in providing and explaining relevant technical documentation,release notes, and knowledge base articles to partners and customers to help themmaximize their use of the Cybereason platform.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, SANS, OSCP) are a significant plus. 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or Sales Engineer role within the cybersecurityindustry. In-depth, hands-on experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), ExtendedDetection and Response (XDR), and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) orManaged Security Services (MSS) platforms. Proven experience in a channel-focused sales model, including partner enablement anddirect technical support. Exceptional presentation, demonstration, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability toarticulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Willingness and ability to travel throughout the APAC region as required.
