The Role

We are pursuing a Financial Planning & Analysis Finance Analyst to support the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis with monthly reporting, forecasting and annual budgeting, ensuring that Bega Group has a robust financial plan and providing impactful and insightful analysis.

Working within a close-knit team, you will utilise your finance, reporting and analytical expertise by playing a critical role in Bega Group's budgeting and forecasting process and analytics of month end results.

This opportunity is for a highly driven and motivated finance analyst with excellent analytical skills and strong stakeholder management who understands the importance of meeting timelines and business commitments.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate and preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Provide commercial and financial insight on financial results in a timely and insightful manner to senior leadership.
• Support the development of the Group’s Strategic Plan.
• Assist the Head of FP&A with BAU activities, including analysis and preparation of financial reports to align with Bega Group’s financial reporting requirements.
• Drive collaboration with senior finance leaders and commercial peers to ensure a strong alignment of forward-looking assumptions and business impacts.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/commerce/accounting
• CA/CPA qualified, or undertaking will be advantageous.
• A previous experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing industries
• Systems: Solid experience using MS Excel and Power BI- must have; an M3 or SAP experience will be highly regarded
• Ability to work within strict deadlines, bring others to the journey, and prioritise tasks is critical in this role.
