The Job:
As a Global Project & Process Improvement Manager, you’ll be part of our Purchased Components Global Supply Management team as a remote employee. The role will include the standardization of key procurement processes within the greater Purchased Component team and the management/implementation of key strategic procurement initiatives and projects. You'll get to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Support SteerCo Reporting.
- Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes, recommend and implement improvements through process mapping, root cause analysis, and lean methodologies.
- Streamline workflows and automate processes where possible using procurement tools & systems
- Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor for all trade compliance matters
- Collaborate with leadership to define the scope, objectives, and timeline for strategic project initiatives
- Develop and execute communication plans and regularly provide updates to stakeholders on key strategic process and strategic initiatives roll outs
- Develop detailed plans outlining key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across cross functional groups
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies and drive continuous improvement initiatives through cross functional stakeholder alignment
- Follows standardized Program Management guidelines and templates to ensure robust project plans and maintains documentation as required
- Enhance key performance indicator (KPI) tracking through process standardization and automation where possible.
- Enhance key performance indicator (KPI) delivery though capability building efforts engaging departments like COE, Product Platforming, SVC, etc.
The Person:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally with a focus on large-scale business transitions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential challenges during the transfer process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate collaboration across teams
- Proficiency in project management tools and data analysis techniques to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement
- Ability to effectively lead meetings, set agenda, document minutes, and monitor/track key deliverables
