Sr Engineer, R&D Software Engineering

Clario is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D Software Engineering team in India. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and delivering software solutions that power our global clinical trial technology platform. What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software solutions within an agile framework
• Contribute to product architecture and collaborate with leaders on project planning and execution
• Conduct peer code reviews, promote best practices, and share technical knowledge across the team
• Partner with Software Quality Engineering to maximize test automation and embed quality throughout the development cycle
• Apply advanced knowledge of software design patterns, frameworks, and methodologies to deliver robust solutions
• Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning
• Support DevOps practices and contribute to the adoption of cloud-based solutions
• Document processes, manage risks effectively, and support cross-functional collaboration across Clario

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven expertise in software design, coding, debugging, and implementation across multiple platforms
• Strong experience with Source Code Management tools (e.g., Git) and work item tracking systems
• Hands-on knowledge of unit testing, test automation, and design patterns
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
• Exposure to cloud-based software development (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in English
