Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a General Maintenance Associate!
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate power tools, including griding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
- Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company safety operating procedures.
- Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts, and accessories.
- Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites.
- Involvement in equipment repair and rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment.
- Maintain Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts.
- Follow proper check in and check out producers for rental equipment and accessories.
- Troubleshoot fleet for needed repairs and maintenance.
- Follow housekeeping policies.
- Follow all company mandated safety policies
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs
- May be responsible for providing driver duties and responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Prior mechanic experience is preferred but not required, training provided.
- Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of hydraulic equipment.
- Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and repairing of electrical components.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools.
- Experience in operation of powered industrial equipment / trucks / forklifts.
- Ability to work in a shop or field environment.
- Remain results-focused in a fast-paced challenging customer service environment.
- Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid state issued license is required.

Pay Range:

$17.41 - $26.11-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
