We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Systems & Automation Intern to join our dynamic People Experience and Operations Section. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the modernization and efficiency of our HR operations by focusing on process optimization, system utilization, and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in HR technology and a desire to improve workflows through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Process Analysis & System Mapping: Collaborate with HR team members to comprehensively document current HR processes, mapping workflows, data flows, and system touchpoints using flowcharts, process diagrams, and other visual tools. Identify opportunities for system integration and automation.
  • Automation & Optimization Initiatives: Research and propose technology-driven solutions, including automation tools and system enhancements, to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy. Assist in the implementation and testing of new automated workflows.
  • Best Practices Research & Innovation: Conduct research on emerging HR technology trends, best practices in HR process automation.
  • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Development: Develop and update detailed SOPs for automated and system-driven HR processes.
  • Documentation & Version Control: Design, organize, and maintain a centralized repository for all HR system documentation, process maps, automation scripts, and related materials, ensuring proper version control.
  • Ad-hoc Project Support: Provide support on various HR projects, potentially including system configuration, data migration, or user training related to new HR technology implementations.

Requirements:

  • Keen interest in HR technology, process automation, and system optimization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); familiarity with Automation tools (e.g., PowerAutomate).
  • Proficiency in workflow mapping tools (e.g., LucidChart).
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and visualize complex workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing documentation and data accurately.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and a collaborative team player eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment.
