Licensed Massage Therapist – Deep Tissue Specialist (Temporary, Feb–June 2026)

Hi, I’m Dr. Sarah — a chiropractor, entrepreneur, and former Division One athlete. I built my practice from the ground up to become a top performer within two years, and today my mission extends beyond caring for patients — it’s about building a team that thrives together.

We are a tight-knit, high-energy office committed to holistic healthcare and empowering people to live their best lives. Our current team is amazing, and we’re looking for a skilled Massage Therapist to join us while one of our therapists is on maternity leave.


Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide consistent, therapeutic deep tissue care for patients within an integrated chiropractic and wellness practice. You’ll ensure patients receive excellent treatment that supports their long-term health goals while maintaining a positive, professional, and efficient therapy experience.


Expectations of the Role

• Show up reliably and on time — consistency and professionalism are non-negotiable.
• Deliver excellent therapeutic massage tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Educate patients about the benefits of massage therapy and encourage care consistency.
• Maintain accurate records and a clean, professional treatment environment.
• Collaborate with chiropractors and staff as part of a united care team.
• Represent the practice with positivity, warmth, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep tissue massage sessions (Swedish massage reserved for acute patients only).
• Incorporate specialty techniques such as Graston, cupping, lymphatic drainage, and prenatal massage (as trained).
• Educate patients on the role of massage in recovery and wellness.
• Recommend session frequency and assist in promoting package sales for continuity of care.
• Maintain treatment space hygiene and equipment readiness.
• Support the patient experience by collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless visits.

Qualifications

• Current NJ Massage Therapy License (required).
• Strong background in deep tissue massage.
• Additional certifications in Graston, cupping, lymphatic drainage, or prenatal massage (preferred).
• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Current medical malpractice insurance + background check required.
• Agreement that patients belong to the clinic; this role is not for building a personal clientele.

Schedule & Duration

• Start Date: February 2026
• End Date: June 2026 (approx. 4 months)
• Hours: 30+ per week
• Potential for permanent part-time or full-time role depending on patient demand and therapist availability after maternity leave.
