Job Description

At LEGO Security, we continually enhance our operations and are looking for a brave, curious, and proactive professional, preferably a Marine Engineer or someone with a similar technical background. The ideal candidate should be grounded, sociable, and well-organized!

In this role, you will demonstrate your technical expertise and digital skills to support our operations in Denmark, WE, and MEA. Your primary focus will be on operations and maintenance, along with smaller modification projects and participation in major initiatives, acting as a Security Ambassador to uphold our high standards!

Core Responsibilities

  • Operations & Maintenance: Support daily security operations in DK, WE & MEA in deploying and implementing operational security priorities for the region.
  • Asset Management: Cradle2Cradle lifecycle management of CCTV, card readers and similar assets within the area of Security Operations
  • Risk & Compliance: Conduct risk assessments and drive implementation of appropriate and cost-effective security solutions for all LEGO sites in the region
  • Project Support: Ensure the existing security infrastructure in projects is in accordance with the global LEGO Security standards and Participate as a package owner in Projects
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Manage outsourced security services, continuously improving quality and cost-efficiency.
  • Incident & Crisis Management: Lead loss/theft prevention and investigations and contribute to contingency and emergency response planning.

The Global Security Organization looks after, and cares for, people & assets in the organization. The primary role is to ensure business continuity by protecting the company and employees from critical security incidents, ensuring efficient responses to incidents and preventing physical leaks and thefts of intellectual property & critical assets.

As Technical Manager you are the part of the Security DK, WE & MEA Team, where you are encouraged to contribute to deploy the strategic priorities locally in Denmark and in the rest of the region and follow all security operations in the facilities and outdoor areas, cross sites support the security teams, collaborating closely with the rest of the DK, WE & MEA Team, key partners (Production, Legal, PO&D, Procurement, RBP, Imp & Exp, MWH etc.) Site Emergency Management Team (SEMT), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Local Command Center (LCC), Global Command Center (GCC), and Security Excellence Center (SEC).

Do you have what it takes

Need To Have:

  • Education in marine engineering or a similar technical field or background
  • Comfortable working structured in digital systems
  • Crisis Management - Ability to respond and act efficiently in crisis and implement Contingency Plans and related operational emergency response plans and procedures
  • Proficient in English and Danish (spoken and written)

Nice To Have:

  • Basic knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems (GENETEC preferred)
  • Experience in a corporate or public sector role, preferably in a large international company
  • Experience handling outsourcing contracts and vendor management
  • Previous involvement in security projects or technical modifications

The position is placed in Billund with 5-10 days per month in Copenhagen.

The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
