Do you want to secure an outstanding LEGO Building Experience - both for the physical and digital Building Instructions?
And can you ensure that all design principles to the building experience are documented in a design system supporting an accurate Building Instructions design? Then this position in the Building Experience Platform Team is for you!
In this role your job is to secure user-friendly design descriptions for the Building Instructions. This is done by ensuring that all components to the building experience are supporting the BX Design language.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensuring sustainable engaging design documentation across all Building Experience (BX) both digital and physical.
- Quality assurance documentation of Building instructions by assisting in quality builds.
- Create design principal documentation as one source of truth.
- Continuously ensure that the BX Design System is updated with new design descriptions.
- Enable capability building and training of specialists with new BX design principles.
- Create a structured data overview of our building experiences to validate consumer insights.
- Implementation of new design guides for relevant team members.
- Root cause analytics for further research and validation of consumers needs to improve existing experiences.

Do you have what it takes?
- A background in instructional design, service design, design documentation, product experience design, user-centered design, or proven experience in related fields.
- Ability to conduct data-driven investigations and user testing for consumer insights (e.g., kids).
- Demonstrated experience in design and/or product documentation, with some experience in mentoring role.
- Experience as a technical writer or UX designer with a focus on graphic user interface documentation.
- Knowledgeable about design system thinking.
- Ability to drive tasks both individually and collaboratively with an organized and structured approach whilst also being able to adapt to changing work environments.
- Confident in making decisions, from minor adjustments to significant changes, while maintaining a brave and curious attitude with a willingness to ask questions and stay open-minded.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and team collaboration.
- Fluent in English (verbal and writing)
- 2D and 3D design software and media technologies (e.g., Maya, Adobe Suite - InDesign, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance of overall product experience
