The Content Analyst (Lead Analyst) is responsible for the maintenance of database administration and sourcing of data related to Commodities. They are responsible for ensuring that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner. Moreover Content Analyst would be responsible for assigned projects and major source changes. Support the training of entry level associates with regards to product, work flow and database.
- We are looking for people who can work in a team but at the same time be able to take ownership for what they deliver. We encourage innovative ways to working with the data.
- Role Responsibilities
- Maintaining the existing Fundamentals/Physical Asset database available to the clients of the LSEG desktop products and working on getting new data into the database,
- Updating the database with ownership information obtained from open-source research,
- Ensuring that data is delivered as a best-in-class content for specific commodities market segments (agriculture, metals, crude/refined products/freight, power/gas/coal/emissions),
- Supporting Commodities Research Teams,
- Driving innovation and optimization of processes and daily work,
- Provide content/technical trainings to both Client and internal peers,
- Resolving content search/addition client queries, including A2E cases,
- Support DCC/MTTR preventive actions and improvement propositions,
- Drive potential content delivery issues to timely and successful resolution by minimizing and/or avoiding any client impact,
- Participate/lead in source changes, change management process, content quality improvements,
- Collaborate with Front Line Specialists to drive satisfactory customer experience and deliver solutions on time.
Required Skills and Experience
- Advanced level in understanding how the commodities markets operate worldwide
- Meticulous individual who can meet deadlines and objectives
- Ability to work with large amount of information
- Good quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Interpersonal and communication skills to work in an international team
- Excellent oral and written English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools, SQL, Power BI
- Experience in open-source research
- Understanding of Commodities Database
Additional Skill That Are Advantageous:
- Professional or academic experience in energy and environmental markets and policy
- Ability to independently drive parts of larger projects
- Experience with databases, advanced Excel skills
- Data upload and source automation
