The Role

Entering an exciting new phase of growth for the organisation - we are currently seeking experienced Hose Technicians to join our well-established teams. There is TWO roles available to start immediately. (One in Perth and the other covering the Mandurah area)
Your job is to provide high-quality multi-product install, repair and maintenance service to a diverse range of customers. You will get to work on all sorts of mechanical gear, for all sorts of clients in all sorts of places. In this role you will enjoy fixing things along with a desire to provide our customers with an exceptional level of service...if this sounds like your type of role, get in contact with us straight away!
This is a permanent, full-time role offering EXCELLENT HOUR PAY RATES $$$.
Please Note: You must be willing to undertake a Pre Employment Medical and Police Check before taking up this role.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Provide technical service and troubleshooting/breakdown support
- Repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer and mine sites as required
- Conduct tests of mechanical systems on site
- Manufacture hose assemblies
- Maintain hose rooms at sites in a safe and tidy state
- Identify sales opportunities through product cross selling and optimisation
- Liaise closely with key stakeholders to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is achieve
About You
- Unrestricted Australian work rights and must hold a valid visa
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Broad understanding of hydraulic systems and principles
- Mechanical aptitude
- Exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment
- Relevant trade or TAFE qualifications or at least 3 years or experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Logical problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to undertake a Pre Employment Medical Check and Police Check
