Job Description Summary

The Associate Global Product Manager will provide support in the operational management of the Monitoring Solutions Segment in the Patient Care Solutions business. This role specifically focuses on supporting multiple initiatives across our Value and Performance portfolio segments.

The role will engage in different aspects of product management from cooperation with cross-functional teams, as well as commercial regions, to managing both hardware and software-based projects. The position requires skills related to product development, release and commercial launch as well as in-market activities of managing the install base throughout the full product lifecycle.

It will incorporate project management skills, process enhancement and a continuous improvement mindset, business and operational acumen working with cross-functional stakeholders in a global business environment, supporting a key product portfolio within the 1B+ Monitoring Solutions business.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Include:

  • The Associate Product Manager will help in managing meeting cadence, manage stake holder communication, report the project status, and help in driving clarity in customer and region needs.
  • This role will help ensure our ability to compliantly offer and effectively manage the release of supporting solutions, with a focus on installed based management and maintenance projects between stakeholders such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory.
  • Support in the executing of cross-functional change programs to drive definition of best practices and standard work (e.g. aftermarket license management, continuous improvement for installation and deployment processes, activation of new offerings).
  • Support the Monitoring Solutions sales team through product presentations, customer visits, and sales support.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product success, revenue goals, and customer satisfaction, and prepare relevant reports. 
  • This person will partner closely with Senior Global Product Managers within the Monitoring Solutions business and will report to the Director of Global Product Management, Parameters and IoMT.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Marketing or related business field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management or product development
  • Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link operational requirements to project deliverables
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to work in a global and cross functional team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  Demonstrated fluency in English.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of global teams, schedules, and customers
  • Ability to travel both local and global 15-20 % of the time

Preferred/Desired Characteristics

  • Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders and in working in a matrixed environment, preferably in a medical or healthcare industry.
  • Clear thinker with demonstrated ability to utilizes technical skills, analytical thinking, and business judgement required to solve problems.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in an easy-to-understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Previous experience working with internal and external customers and colleagues, including both verbal and written customer-facing communication.
  • Demonstrates passion and eagerness to learn about the clinical aspects of monitoring solution products and the patient outcomes we help drive.
  • Ability to independently lead and influence others, demonstrates self-motivation, enjoys navigating complex situations, and enjoys autonomy in execution once a clear problem statement has been set.
  • Demonstrates business acumen with knowledge of strategies, market dynamics, and financial reporting.
  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others. Maintain operational, quality and financial compliance.
