THE JOB:
As a Recycling Material Handler, you will play a vital role in inspecting and sorting recycled materials. Your friendly demeanor and exceptional service will also help create a positive experience for guests, making you a key contributor to both sustainability and hospitality!

THE STARTING RATE: $15.89

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Sort recycled materials on all the equipment including bailers, bottle/plastic/metals recycler and conveyor line
• Separate cardboard and plastic from waste
• Inspect and sort materials into designated areas according to type, size, condition, color, or paper grade
• Sort various food sources in preparation for composting
• Pull contaminants out of paper and/or off the floor
• Clean recycling area with sweeping, trash removal and general cleaning
• Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs 

The Ideal Candidate:

• Knowledgeable of operating baler machine, bottle recycling machine and conveyor
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Must be able to work as a team and independently with little supervision
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
