Job Summary

As an experienced SAP Basis Consultant, you will be a key member of our technical team, responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our SAP landscape. You will ensure the high availability, optimal performance, and security of our SAP systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of various SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, Fiori).
• Perform routine and proactive system monitoring, including system health checks, performance analysis, and log reviews.
• Manage and execute SAP system refreshes, client copies, and system landscape synchronization.
• Implement and enforce backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute system upgrades, support package stacks, and kernel updates with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Lead system migration projects, including migrations to SAP HANA and cloud platforms (e.g., SAP-ECS, Google Cloud).
• Apply OSS notes and implement security patches as needed to address system vulnerabilities.
• Monitor system performance using tools like Solution Manager, and identify bottlenecks.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of the database and SAP applications.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, including ABAP dumps, system logs, and performance-related problems.
• Manage the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure the integrity and control of all changes promoted across the landscape.
• Coordinate with development and functional teams for transport requests and change management processes.
• Administer user accounts, roles, and profiles, ensuring adherence to security policies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user authorization issues.
• Implement and maintain single sign-on (SSO) configurations.
• Collaborate with other IT teams (e.g., database administrators, network engineers, OS administrators) to resolve technical issues and support projects.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.
• Proven experience with SAP installations, upgrades, and system migrations.
• Strong knowledge of various SAP products and technologies, including SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and SAP HANA database.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system monitoring.
• Experience with transport management systems (TMS) and client administration.
