A bit about the Role
As the dedicated Here4Hospitality Youth Coach, you’ll engage, mentor, and empower young people to develop both employability and technical hospitality skills. You’ll design and deliver tailored coaching, practical training, and real-world work experiences in collaboration with our social enterprise café, The Little Social, and industry partners.
This is more than just a coaching role - you’ll be driving social change by building inclusive employment pathways, forging industry partnerships, and using innovative tools like Virtual Reality to accelerate learning.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Here4Hospitality Program.
- Coach and mentor young people to build resilience, confidence, and workplace readiness.
- Deliver hands-on hospitality and barista training, both one-on-one and in group settings.
- Engage with families, carers, community organisations, and employers to provide holistic support.
- Place at least 30 young people into meaningful hospitality employment annually.
- Design accessible, engaging, and innovative training solutions.
- Build strong partnerships with employers and industry to create job opportunities.
- Use data to track impact, meet KPIs, and continuously improve the program.
- Represent Youth Projects at networking events and promote inclusive employment practices.
Key Requirements
- Qualifications or current study in Youth Work, Social Work, Community Services, or related fields.
- Experience using or are excited to learn tech-based learning tools (e.g., VR for training).
- A knack for building commercial relationships that support social impact programs.

☕Background in community services, employment services, training, or youth work.
☕Hands-on hospitality and barista experience.
☕Strong program management and innovation skills.
☕Ability to design accessible, engaging programs that drive real outcomes.
☕Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills
☕Passion for social justice, community development, and empowering young people.
☕Resilience, proactivity, and a solutions-focused mindset.
☕Lived experience in youth unemployment, mental health, homelessness, or AOD challenges
