Contract Makeup Artist – Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane

Verve Intimate is seeking talented and passionate Makeup Artists to join our boutique boudoir studios in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. We’re hiring locally in each state — you’ll be working from your city studio only (no travel required). As the first touchpoint in our clients’ journey, you’ll not only create beautiful, natural looks that photograph perfectly, but also help set the tone for an unforgettable experience. Many of our clients arrive feeling nervous, and your warmth, artistry, and professionalism will help them feel confident and at ease.

What You’Ll Do

• Provide professional hair & makeup styling in our studio (natural, relaxed looks that suit our photography style)
• Welcome and connect with clients to ease nerves and set a positive tone
• Support the team with light studio admin and service tasks where needed
• Be ready before bookings and help keep the client experience seamless
• Collaborate with our creative studio team to deliver empowering, high-quality experiences

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ professional makeup experience (basic hair styling skills a bonus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you genuinely love people
• A fun, warm, and professional presence
• Available at least 2 days per week
• Ability to work from one of our boutique studios in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane
