A Day In The Life

We are recruiting an experienced Project Manager who organizes, manages and executes complex projects in a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled professionals. A unique position in which you can make an impact and be at the forefront of setting the new standard for (non-) robotic articulating instrument technology.

You are smart, decisive and self-confident. You have a natural talent for involving and motivating others. You easily reduce complex matters to the essence. You naturally connect with different parties to achieve the set objectives. You actively gather and share information to keep a close eye on the progress of the project. Your ultimate goal is to achieve joint results.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Lead the entire design and development process including requirements management, product design and development
• Design transfer to production and product introduction at the customer
• Manage uncertainties, set priorities, anticipate changing conditions and report proactively on the progress with all your stakeholders
• Head up the project team and ensure they get the best out of themselves without losing sight of the ultimate goal

Required Knowledge And Experience:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar combined with at least 7 years of relevant experience as a project manager leading multidisciplinary teams in a product development environment 
• Excellent command of the English language
• Experience in medical device product development is preferred
• Strong communication skills 
• Adaptable, pragmatic and business oriented and results-driven
