The Program Manager, Leadership Development, reports to the Director of Learning & Development and is accountable for the execution/facilitation, management, quality and effectiveness of all assigned leadership development programs. They play a critical role in delivering and continuously improving leadership development initiatives across the organization. They ensure programs are strategically aligned with business goals, operationally sound, and engaging for adult learners. The ideal candidate is a skilled facilitator, communicator, program manager, and experienced leader with a passion for leadership growth and organizational development. A high level of professionalism, engagement, consistency is required to provide value for the learning audience and program stakeholders.
- Program Management: The Program Manager of Leadership Development will manage program schedules and ensure timely execution of all assigned programs. Oversee the administration and optimization of learning programs within the Learning Management System (LMS). Communicate effectively with learners and business stakeholders using various platforms like SharePoint and Teams. Lead continuous improvement efforts through surveys, data analysis, and annual program reviews. Track and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate program effectiveness. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Program Facilitation: Facilitate all assigned leadership development programs in virtual, live, and blended learning environments. Facilitation and learner interactions must encompass an adult learning approach to provide a psychologically safe, respectful, engaging, interactive, and professional learning experience for participants. Ensure appropriate use of learning materials, activities, technology, and systems to provide engaging learning experiences in all learning formats and mediums.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders to ensure program alignment, and success. Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify leadership gaps and recommend targeted solutions. Align leadership development programs with broader talent strategies and business priorities.
- Content Management: Regularly audit and review leadership development content to ensure relevance and quality. Design interactive learning experiences that drive engagement and retention. Ensure the instructional design is inclusive, accessible, and adheres to adult learning principles to meet learner needs. Partner with subject matter experts and business partners to update and refine program materials.
- Very strong communication skills both written and oral to articulate clearly and concisely at all leadership levels.
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods and familiarity with blended learning styles and needs, which includes curriculum design via various mediums, learning application, and measurement of learning impacts.
- Build and maintain personal and professional credibility with all levels of leadership and across different generations and the ability to build collaborative working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to operate autonomously and lead initiatives and programs while maintaining a strong partnership approach.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail to manage stakeholders, various requests, projects, and activities to deliver on commitments.
- Strong understanding and skill with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong understanding of project management and change management practices.

- Post-secondary education, preferably in adult education, human resources, or organizational development; degree preferred.
- 5+ years of HR / business experience, in a management or advisory role
- 2+ years of experience facilitating or effectively leading group discussions regularly.
- Experience developing and managing learning content with the use of a LMS and authoring tools (Articulate preferred).
- Experience in the assessment, designing, developing of learning programs using modern learning techniques
