About The Role
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Program Support Team Lead to guide and support a dedicated team of around 12 Support Workers at our Townsville Residential Rehabilitation.
In this pivotal frontline leadership role, you’ll oversee daily operations, manage rosters, support client-centred care practices, and foster a positive and cohesive team culture—ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
How you will make an impact:
- Lead, coach, and support Support Workers in delivering person-centred care
- Manage rostering and day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service delivery
- Promote safety, quality improvement, and client wellbeing across all activities
- Oversee documentation, systems, and tools including SAMIS, SolvSafety, and Kronos
- Support admissions, discharges, medication supervision, and daily routines
- Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with the Centre Manager to implement service enhancements
What You Will Bring:
- Degree in Social Work, Community Services or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in staff leadership and supervision in AOD, health or community services
- Strong understanding of risk, clinical governance, and trauma-informed practice
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check), First Aid & CPR certification, and driver’s licence
