Security Officer - Albany, NY

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team at a high-technology, professional site in Albany, NY. Reliable transportation is required, as local bus schedules do not align with the site’s work hours. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, technologically confident, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment. Schedule & Pay: • Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 9:30 PM (unpaid lunch included) • 35 hours per week • Pay rate: $19.20 per hour Key Responsibilities: • Monitor CCTV and site surveillance systems. • Oversee and respond to communications within a server group chat. • Conduct regular walking patrols of the premises. • Document observations through accurate reports and logs. • Maintain professional communication with site staff, visitors, and security team members. • Follow established emergency protocols and provide assistance when necessary. Qualifications: • Current CPR certification required (training provided if not certified). • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. • Comfortable with technology, including surveillance systems and digital communications. • Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct. • Previous security experience preferred, but not required.
