The Office of Global Security’s mission is to Protect the people and assets of Goldman Sachs. To ensure a safe and secure environment for our people, we assess risk to Lead crisis management preparation, implementation and recovery

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

 Lead on regional crisis management

  • Lead crisis management preparation, incident response, action implementation, and recovery processes according to the Firmwide Crisis Management Framework
  • Host crisis incident calls when relevant crisis response teams are convened.
  • Lead on the drafting and dissemination of crisis response firmwide communications and escalation postings
  • Conduct regionwide divisional crisis responder training and drilling

 Manage Crisis Management Centre Operation

  • Provide managerial oversight of the regional CMC operation
  • To supervise selection, training and assessments of CMC analysts
  • Oversee the production and presentation of threat reports and risk analyses
  • Management risk assessment of all GS locations including business and vacation travel destinations

Strategic Planning

  • Implement and continuously improve threat monitoring strategy from internal and external sources
  • Represent APAC region in strategic planning and global implementation of firmwide crisis management policies and standards. This includes CMC operational efficiencies, travel risk program, and global threat monitoring
  • Support the procurement and maintenance of CMC tools such as those designed to enhance mass communication and situational awareness
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external security partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage APAC Crisis Management Vendor contracts to seek the best quality and value services

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 Proven ability to work well under pressure

  • Excellent communication skills in English and preferably other Asian languages
  • Experience in managing crisis incidents including liaison with senior management
  • Proactive approach, with regards to developing systems and processes
  • Ability to engineer creative solutions to complex problems
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple requests for information and prioritize accordingly
  • People management skills as a direct manager of a team
  • Knowledge of and interest in international affairs particularly in Asia Pacific including India
  • 5+ years' experience in professional security management, crisis management or relevant police/government agency/military background
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience utilising data and familiarity with data visualization and analytics software
