Job Highlights:

Contract type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern (4 hours per day, 20 hours per week)

Our client is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media & Content Specialist to support personal brand growth across Instagram and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate will have experience building thought leadership content for individual brands (not corporate accounts), with a strong focus on video editing, social engagement, and audience growth. A background in blockchain or crypto is a plus.

Scope & Structure:

Access to professional footage library from keynote events
Focused on personal brand building (not product marketing)
Month-to-month independent contractor agreement

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and repurpose stock footage from speaking events into short, engaging Instagram videos
Create and manage strategic LinkedIn posts focused on thought leadership
Develop and execute content strategies tailored to personal branding goals
Schedule and post content consistently on Instagram and LinkedIn
Create compelling, on-brand content that resonates with the target audience
Handle community engagement, including outreach to influencers and participation in professional groups
Respond to messages and inquiries across platforms
Run DM outreach campaigns to grow network and brand visibility

Requirements

Experience managing personal brand or thought leader social media accounts
Skilled in video editing and content creation from existing footage
Strong knowledge of Instagram and LinkedIn best practices
Ability to craft engaging content that builds authority and influence
Experience in community engagement and influencer outreach
Excellent written communication skills
Familiarity or experience in the blockchain/crypto industry
