The Global Engagement Management team is a network of professionals across the world who support our KPMG firms in their objectives of providing consistently exceptional services to our clients.
Global Immigration Engagement Management Associate Consultant will support global immigration client engagement with a wide range of activities:
- • Assist the U.S. Immigration teams in preparing and managing employment-based immigration cases.
- • Develop a strong understanding of immigration categories and legal requirements for various work visa and permanent residency pathways.
- • Draft comprehensive immigration petition packages by applying legal knowledge and tailoring documentation to the specific facts of each case.
- • Review and organize case documents, ensuring they are accurately saved and filed in designated virtual workspaces.
- • Leverage technology platforms to enhance efficiency and streamline immigration operations.
- • Collaborate regularly with support teams across KPMG’s international offices to ensure alignment and consistency in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for learning and growth. The ideal candidate will be able to manage shifting priorities while meeting the needs of clients and attorneys with professionalism and initiative.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all immigration-related matters for consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Independently manage and process a wide range of non-immigrant and immigrant petitions, including H-1B filings, extensions, amendments, and L1 applications.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate with immigration attorneys to file accurate and timely documentation with relevant government agencies.
• Monitor visa expiration dates and proactively manage timelines for extensions, renewals, and compliance requirements.
• Stay informed on changes in immigration laws and policies, and communicate relevant updates and potential impacts to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure immigration files and records are accurately maintained, organized, and audit-ready at all times.
Ensure High Quality of Process Delivery:
- Demonstrate the awareness of KPMG's risk management policies and procedures and support engagement administration
- Work with attention to detail to deliver results to agreed standards
- Prioritize and deals with daily tasks to make most productive use of time
- Keep others updated on the status of tasks
- Proactively taking more task once completed
- Be task orientated and proven ability to produce quality work on a regular basis, to a consistently high standard
- Ask for support and escalate upward when appropriate

- Strong attention to detail even when dealing with routine tasks

- Take a thorough approach to analyze information and making decisions, knowing what commitments are being entered.
Risk Management:
- Ability to recognize and raise potential matters of risk for the client and/or the firm to Line Manager for review and resolution in a timely manner. - Good awareness of firm's policies and ability to raise concerns to a more senior member of the team for resolution. Billing and Client Engagement Management:
- Ensure all time bookings are accurate and timely and achieve chargeable hours target.
Technology:
- Working on data cleansing exercise in immigration tools (if relevant as part of client transition)
- Work on expiry report and share with the AM when report is final and complete
- Work on WIP report and share with the AM when report is final and error free
Mandatory Skills in any two of the follow US visa types:
- H-1BCAP, Amendments, Extensions, and Transfers- H4 dependent visa and H4 EAD filings- L1, L1-A, L1-B, L2- PERM, I-140 petitions, AOS
- Candidate must have 1-4 years of experience in immigration, preferably within an IT staffing or consulting environment.- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.- Timely and accurate filing of Labor Condition Applications (LCAs), including maintenance of Public Access Files (PAFs) and posting of LCA notices.- Strong understanding of employment-based immigration processes.- Preparation of supporting documentation for PERM, I-140 petitions, AOS and audit responses- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.- Clear, professional communication skills—both written and verbal.- Proficiency in INSZoom or similar immigration case management software.- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build trust with internal stakeholders and clients.- Strong command of English; additional language skills are a plus but not required.- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently.- Proficiency in MS Office tools
