About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chef De Partie to join Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to recipes, menu guidelines, and Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef instructions, ensuring correct portions, garnishing, and plating.
• Oversee mise-en-place, stock rotation, refrigeration cleaning, date coding, and deep cleaning to maintain freshness, hygiene, and operational standards.
• Manage the assigned kitchen section, delegating tasks to junior chefs, supervising service during busy periods, and ensuring smooth operations in the absence of senior chefs.
• Support menu development by contributing creative, seasonal ideas, and ensure optimal use of resources such as food, labour, water, and energy.
• Train and guide junior chefs and trainees, maintaining an active training plan and ensuring adherence to food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and Jumeirah’s standards of excellence.
• Maintain cleanliness of the section, report equipment failures, comply with health, safety, and fire procedures, and perform additional duties as required to support kitchen operations.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in a progressively more complex and responsible roles ideally within the luxury hospitality industry.
• College Degree in Culinary Arts or similar from an accredited Culinary School preferred. 
• Expert culinary knowledge of classical and international trends, food quality, presentation, and hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Reliable team player with speed, accuracy, attention to detail, honesty, and high energy.
