Job Details

We are looking for a committed and organised Home Economics Auxiliary to work within the Home Economics department. The duties will include: 

  • Stock control of food and materials. 
  • Portioning and preparation of food for lessons. 
  • Assist with placing of food orders on the instruction of teaching staff and checking deliveries 
  • Laundry within the department. 
  • General kitchen duties (for example washing up, setting up, cleaning/clearing away equipment and its surround). 
  • Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements 

You are required to have good levels of interpersonal skills and the ability to provide a regular and effective service. 

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
