About this job:
Supervises library technical services staff and oversees Library Acquisitions, Cataloging and Assessment Library. Oversees inventory and distribution of Maker Kit Lending Library, Classroom Library and Assessment Library materials and software. Leads and supports operations through practical application of knowledge, use of proven techniques, and adherence to procedures.

• Supervises a team of library and assessment technicians
• Provides differentiated support for school staff members in the functional use of library and assessment kits and devices
• Provides training and support to staff related to the use of library services
• Manages department inventory and distribution systems, collaborates with relevant District departments to ensure cohesion of systems
• Participates in department long-term planning and collaborates closely with related departments to coordinate efforts
• Provides accurate and timely information on program operations
• Recruits, hires, trains, supervises and coaches all staff members to create a harmonious and efficient working environment; provides professional development and ensures staff understand school and district policies and procedures
• Observes and engages in program components to enhance staff support and ensure program quality
• Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma/ GED - Required
- Bachelor's Degree - Education, Special Education or related - Preferred
- Three (3+) years of experience providing related education/training to adults in a public school or similar setting - Required
- Supervisory experience - Preferred
- Valid Colorado driver's license, appropriate insurance, and clean driving record for the past three (3) years - Required
- Ability to motivate and influence others
- Ability to effectively lead a team
- Ability to set goals, work independently and drive results
- Self-starter/leader who can anticipate department needs in a proactive (versus, reactive) manner
- Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work with individuals at all different levels in the organization
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with district and school leaders, faculty, staff and students
- Demonstrated proficiency with Google Workplace
- Outstanding facilitation and communication skills, including ability to inspire others
- High degree of integrity in handling confidential information
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
