The Opportunity:

The Role:

Delivering at our Berlin Centre, you will be teaching Arden University blended learning students by utilising a range of innovative learning materials and resources. 

Being experienced at teaching students in German as a Foreign Language, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver student-centred teaching approaches. 

We attach great importance to communicative, action-oriented language teaching in which the focus is on the students. Arden lecturers should create an engaging and dynamic environment to provide opportunities for students to play an active and autonomous role in learning. You have German language skills at native speaker level. 

A high degree of intercultural competence is also one of the basic prerequisites for cooperation. You have a German as a Foreign Language or German as a Second Language degree and demonstrable teaching experience.

This is an Associate engagement, offered on a freelancer contract basis.

About You:

We would like to hear from you if you have a teaching qualification such as the International House Certificate in Teaching German as a Foreign Language or the EUROLTA Certificate for Teaching German to Adults, along with an undergraduate degree. 

A Master’s degree (or current progress toward one) is also expected. 

Experience teaching in both online and face-to-face settings is desirable, particularly within blended or virtual learning environments using platforms like Moodle or Blackboard.
