Under the direction of and in collaboration with the O&SM Regional Service Line Director, the RN Navigator Total Joint Replacement (TJR)/ Alternative Payment Model (APM) is responsible for navigating TJR patients through all phases of the care pathway (from the preoperative setting through a 90-day episode of care), and providing leadership on performance improvement (PI) teams to ensure success in APM participation and TJR Center of Excellence (CoE) designation. The Navigator optimizes patient, staff and provider satisfaction with the CoE program, while ensuring quality and cost benchmarks are achieved. A comprehensive understanding of TJR best practice standards, case management principles, APMs, effective education delivery methods, continuous process improvement and data management/reporting are key to performing this role.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Graduation from an accredited RN program.
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 2 years recent clinical experience in acute and ambulatory care orthopedics settings. Professional Orthopedic specialty certification (or equivalent) required within 2 years of hire date
Preferred Qualifications:
- Case management experience.
- Proven working relationship with physicians, clinic personnel, and medical center staff, with demonstrated success in relationship building.
- Proven leadership and change initiative experience, having managed resources either directly or within the implementation of a new initiative.
- Experience in education program development and presentation.
- Current knowledge of alternative payment models.
