Sterile Processing Technician - Full-time Evening

Sterile Processing Technician at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Evening shifts.

Under general supervision of the Assistant manager, and the Supervisors, the Technician I is responsible for decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of all instrumentation, supplies, and equipment in the Main O.R., Surgery Center and other SJO units.

Required Qualifications:

• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Experience as a Central Service Technician in a hospital setting.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
