Job Description
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for Quality Department at Zary operations. Your aim will be to ensure that the products or services an organisation provides are fit for purpose, legally compliant and meet customer expectation. You will need to communicate with Quality Manager - Poland and Site Manager to make decisions for strategic aspects.
You will work closely with other team members as: Operations, HR, EH&S, Finance, Engineering, Logistic, Procurement.
Collaboration and team leadership will be a key aspect of your role.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify
potential problems.
You will also need to follow with global policies and ensure these are transferred to site level.
How Will You Contribute
- Meet company objectives with respect to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Environment, Morale
- Establish annual budgets and ensure targets are met withing Quality Department
- Ensuring financial targets and other agreed targets are met in Quality Department
- Making sure safety regulations are followed
- Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
- Investigating customer satisfaction and reporting any issues
- Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
- Work with customers to develop / improve the overall quality strategy
- Completely understand customer expectations and ensure that all was done to meet these
- Working according to deadlines for the delivery of products
- Identifying and Leading quality improvements
- Ensure all external and internal Quality KPI's are met
- Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards
- Liaise with other managers and staff and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards
- Participation and Leading an External audits and controls (pre-ISO, RBA and other)
- Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
- Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems
- Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
- Increase the exposure of the site in a positive light to maximize opportunity for future growth
- Drives, attends and participates ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 management review
Your Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Management/Production or related field
- Proven experiences in quality management
- Preferred experience as a Quality Manager in production industries
- Familiarity with quality standards and processes to follow federal, state and local regulations
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 19011
- Applied knowledge of MsOffice (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Knowledge of problem solving and risk assessment techniques (e.g. A3, 8D, FMEA)
- Knowledge of 5S auditing methodologies and principles
- Excellent knowledge of Polish and English is required.
- Strong leadership style
- Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to those flaws
- Looking into long-term business success strategy
- Ability to operate under deadlines while still meeting standards
