Intern - Merchandising (Located at Pelawatta) Linea Aqua is a swimwear manufacturer, established as a joint venture between MAS Holdings and Speedo International in 2001. Linea Aqua operates across Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and in addition to swimwear, also offers activewear solutions to select customers, providing a comprehensive service across performance and lifestyle categories. Along with servicing its joint venture partner, Speedo, the company also services premier international brands such as In Private, Aerie, and Land’s End, and is the go-to manufacturer for high-performance swimwear worn by Olympic athletes.

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to identify and order Raw materials including trims and fabrics required for sample developments stages and actively engage with the Merchandising team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with internal teams to develop new sample developments such as pre-production, fit samples.
• Identifying and ordering Raw materials including trims and fabrics required for sample developments stages.
• Maintain good relationship with external suppliers to make smooth delivering process.
• Continuously following up internal and external teams to meet sample development deadlines.
• Handle SAP, customer PLM, One PLM systems and applications. 
• Maintaining accurate records of orders and other relevant information, ensuring compliance with internal policies.  
• Identifying and processing new product sample requirements by using customer tech packs .
• Monitoring inventory levels for sample development, forecasting demand and coordinating with PDC (Product Development Center).
