As an IT Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading projects of varying complexity, adapting to changes and instabilities in project management processes and frameworks.
- Developing and maintaining detailed project plans and forecasts, including resource allocation, costs, and dependencies.
- Handling risk, issue, and change control processes, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and tracking action items.
- Supervising progress, quality, planning, and budget, reporting to senior management and partners.
- Handling virtual teams across different divisions and entities, including third-party suppliers.
- Ensuring projects adhere to Euroclear's internal standards and methodologies.
- Leading improvement initiatives and acting as the primary interface between project sponsors/clients and IT services.
Profile
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end IT functional projects exceeding 5000 man-days with a virtual team coordination of at least 30 individuals, preferably within the Financial/Banking sector and following Agile methodologies on mainframe platforms.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Project Manager in IT.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong leadership skills adaptable to various partners and situations.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization, coupled with the ability to learn quickly and synthesize complex information.
- Effective negotiation, conflict management, and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in task delegation while maintaining overall control and driving tasks to completion.
- Provide constructive feedback that leads to positive change.
Assets:
- Knowledge of Settlement/Banking domains.
- Experience with outsourcing partners and cross-platform implementation.
- Distributed expertise alongside mainframe specialization.
- Certification in PRINCE2 and/or PMI, or similar IT frameworks.
