Principal Research Scientist III, S3

Purpose of the Position:

• The Principal Research Scientist III will perform funded research. The incumbent will also serve as the IT and cybersecurity SME for SAP and SCI programs at PEO M&S.
• Duties/Responsibilities
• • Perform funded research.
• • Serve as the IT and cybersecurity SME for SAP and SCI programs at PEO M&S
• • Ensure IT and cybersecurity best practices are followed by providing technical guidance, managing audits and supporting security inspections
• • Implement and execute RMF cybersecurity controls to protect SAP and SCI-level information systems and data

Minimum Requirements:

• • Ph.D. with 36 - 42 months (3 - 3.5 years) of full-time work experience, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• • 10+ years information systems security experience. 2+ years cybersecurity support of PEO M&S
• • US citizenship is required

Desired Qualifications:

• • Ph.D. with 36+ months (5+ years) of full-time work experience, or a professional equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• • 12+ years information systems security experience
• • 3+ years cybersecurity support of PEO M&S. RMF for DoD

Published Salary (if available):

$137,380 - $141,000.
