Post-doctoral Fellow

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (several posts) (Ref.: 533225), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biological science, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics or related disciplines. They should be self-driven, highly motivated, creative with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Cantonese. Expertise and knowledge in bioinformatics and data analysis (e.g. Linux, R programming) is essential. The appointees will need to perform data analysis of clinical genomics, single cell RNA-sequencing and transcriptomics data analysis in different sarcomas. Publications related to clinical genomics study like whole genome or whole exome sequencing analysis will be a strong advantage. Additional basic laboratory skills in handling clinical samples (e.g. FFPE tissue, blood) and DNA/RNA extractions will be desirable.
