We are seeking a highly skilled UiPath RPA Consultant who can both deliver hands-on RPA solutions and mentor a colleague transitioning from IT systems engineering into RPA development. We are seeking a highly skilled UiPath RPA Consultant who can both deliver hands-on RPA solutions and mentor a colleague transitioning from IT systems engineering into RPA development. 

As a Part-Time UiPath RPA Consultant, you will:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of UiPath automation workflows.
• Provide guidance on best practices for building scalable, maintainable automation solutions.
• Assist in the use of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and other advanced UiPath features to automate processes involving document and data extraction.
• Mentor and train an internal colleague transitioning from IT systems engineering to RPA development, providing structured learning, hands-on coaching, and project-based support.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to help PCG International establish standards, governance, and a roadmap for automation adoption.

This role is expected to start at approximately 10 hours per week, with potential to expand to 20 hours per week as project volume grows. Requirements

Required:

• Proven hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying automations using UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and other UiPath components.
• Experience using UiPath Document Understanding and OCR technologies (e.g., Google OCR, ABBYY, UiPath native OCR).
• Strong knowledge of RPA development best practices, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Previous experience mentoring or training others in RPA or software development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote consulting capacity.

Preferred:

• UiPath certifications (e.g., UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer).
• Experience integrating RPA with AI-driven solutions or APIs.
• Background in IT systems engineering or development, with an understanding of enterprise infrastructure.
• Consulting experience or prior side hustle/part-time project work.

Engagement Details

• Type: Independent Contractor / Consultant
• Hours: ~10 hours per week initially, may grow to 20 hours/week
• Schedule: Flexible; ability to attend occasional scheduled check-ins
• Location: Remote (U.S. preferred, but open to global candidates with strong communication skills)
• Compensation: Competitive hourly consulting rate, commensurate with experience
