Lean Manufacturing Specialist

Your Tasks

We are currently looking for experienced Process Engineer. The employee of this position supports Lean initiatives within the organization by assisting in the implementation of Lean tools and methodologies. This role is designed for individuals at the beginning of their Lean journey, focusing on learning and development under the guidance of Local Lean Champion which reflects the Senior level. The position involves work across 2 manufacturing plants (Nawojowa Góra and Pisary).

Key tasks:

  • Assist in the local implementation of system principles and collect data for Lean maturity assessment audits
  • Provide hands-on assistance to managers with their Lean initiatives at the team or small-area level
  • Assist in sustaining and monitoring the implemented Lean tools, such as 5S or standard work
  • Actively take part in continuous improvement workshops, collecting ideas and supporting their implementation
  • Assist in organizing and conducting basic Lean training sessions and workshops, for example, for new employees
  • Prepare data and simple reports on project progress and Lean metrics for management
  • Participate in local Lean community meetings and help share best practices with other teams

Your Profile

  • Educational Background: An education degree or courses, preferably in engineering or management (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Lean Expertise & Certification: An understanding of Lean principles and tools, supported by practical experience (e.g., through an internship, student projects, or up to 1 year of work experience). A Lean Six Sigma White Belt or Yellow Belt certification is a plus.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills (in Polish, English basic required with willingness to improve) and a proactive attitude.
  • Understanding and practical application of tools like 5S, Kaizen (continuous improvement), or Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and an openness to learning new software for data analysis or project management
